One of the 500 Founders Series positions, set by the date your reservation is placed.

In writing, from your dealer.

A $1,000 reservation, with $750 refundable until conversion. Your dealer provides the full reservation terms in writing before you commit.

Lock in a serial number or date.

A reservation does not assign a serial number, certify your operation, guarantee a delivery date or set the final aircraft price.

Step 01 · $1,000

Reserve through a dealer

Place a $1,000 reservation with any authorized Exedy dealer. Your reservation date sets your place in line for one of the 500 Founders Series aircraft. $750 stays refundable right up until conversion. If you decide the AYRE CX isn’t for you before then, your dealer refunds the $750.

Step 02

Follow real milestones

Exedy publishes the status of each gate on the Build Log as it is met. Gates, not dates. If a gate moves, your place in line moves with it, and your $750 stays refundable until conversion.

Step 03 · $5,000

Convert

Once field and spray validation are met, reservation holders are invited to convert to a $5,000 deposit, targeted for January 2027. Your $1,000 rolls into it. At conversion the deposit becomes non-refundable and a serial number is assigned to your aircraft. If you choose not to convert, your $750 is refunded.

First deliveries are targeted for spring 2027, subject to engineering, FAA, dealer and production readiness. This is a target, not a guaranteed ship date.

Good questions to ask.

01Does a reservation buy an aircraft?

No. It secures one of the 500 Founders Series production positions. The final aircraft price, configuration and purchase agreement come later, through your dealer.

02What does it cost, and is it refundable?

A reservation is $1,000, placed through your dealer. $750 is refundable until conversion. At conversion you move to a $5,000 deposit, your $1,000 rolls into it, and the deposit becomes non-refundable. Your dealer provides the full terms in writing before you commit.

03What happens if a milestone slips?

Your place in line rolls forward with the updated schedule, and your $750 stays refundable until conversion. Exedy reports progress on the Build Log.

04When do I get a serial number?

At conversion, not at reservation. Once a serial number is assigned, Exedy files for FAA registration (your N-number) before the aircraft ships, so registration isn’t waiting on delivery. FAA processing times are outside Exedy’s control, and Exedy will share when each filing is submitted. New to spray drones? If you don’t hold a Part 137 certificate yet, ask your dealer about converting early. Exedy has reserved N-numbers available so you can start your 44807 exemption and Part 137 process now and be ready for the season. See the FAA’s Part 137 guidance.

05What is the Founders Series?

The first 500 AYRE CX aircraft, reserved by end users through authorized Exedy dealers. Founders get a priority production position set by reservation date, double the standard warranty term (the battery and charger are not included in the double term), and a spare parts kit. Kit contents are being finalized from the results of Exedy’s field and spray testing, so it is built around the parts that actually wear in the field. Up to 20 positions per entity, including affiliates. Reservations can be transferred only through your dealer, with Exedy’s consent, for no more than what was paid. See the Founders Series.

06Do I have to use the closest dealer?

No. Most Exedy dealers sell nationwide, so choose the one you want to work with. A dealer close by can make demos and in-season service easier.

07Where do I pay?

Not here. This site takes no payment. Send your request above and your dealer will walk you through completing the reservation.
